for Amy Sherman-Palladino leaving?

Her speech about loving Luke so she needs to get married right now was extreme. I mean, chill. It’s been like 9 months. You can love him without being married. Lorelai is in relationships for the wrong reasons. It’s like love will stop her from turning 45. Or like marriage is what she was born for, as a woman. 

In a lot of ways I’m glad she may be with Chris. Luke’s got his act together and Lorelai has to take some time to think

weird scene in the last episode where rory was british made me uncomfortable

Is over. I’ll be holding off on season 7 for a few weeks. 

Here are some things.

This season was my least favorite by far. I like the way Jess has developed and the way Rory shaped up. I also was very happy to see Zach and Lane get married! People get married very young on this show, but i guess that’s what happens when you never leave a small town. 

The twist of Luke’s daughter was okay. I’m not in love with the actress, but that’s okay. Mainly the situation with Luke having a daughter never really went anywhere so I’m not sure if it was needed. But whats really needed in Gilmore? 

There was a lot of Gil at the wedding. I liked that.

I don’t care about Logan and Rory’s odd love for him is strange. I appreciate that he stuck with her even after she turned back into her true self, but he is a snooze. Does anyone like Logan the best?

but season six is dragging and my shows are airing new episodes and I honestly don’t care much at this point so you better pick up the pace.

Gilmore GIrls would only be a half hour long

You know how Rory quit Yale after one powerful man told her she was no good? Can we all just clap at the show for putting something very real into the story? It happens every few episodes, but I was once told by an author “this story…i don’t…i don’t even know what this is. Lets not even discuss it.” when he was critiquing my work. But yearly I get mentions of “What ever happened to that cool story about the blah blah you used to do readings for?” and I have to say “I was told it was awful” and people say “Oh…i liked it.”

So one man might not know everything, but they are enough to make you quit. That story is still just saved on a laptop, tucked under my bed. I have no intentions to look at it again.

Anyway, Good job Rory for getting it back together and trying again.

threw me through a loop. For the past 2 episodes I’ve been trying to figure out if Luke slept with Jess’s dad’s girlfriend 12 years ago. If you’re going to cast someone twice, make them look drastically different and don’t let them be as famous as Sherilyn Fenn. It’s like Deadwood all over again.
